These beautiful refurbished natural granite steps in the main entrance of a hotel in North Yorkshire were found to be very dangerous in wet conditions.

The contractor who installed the granite specified Antislip as the solution to this safety hazard.

The application was carried out during normal day time hours with minimal disruption and the natural appearance of the granite was retained.

The steps and landing area and internal entrance- way of this professional institute building in London were treated with Antislip over 2 years ago.

The main safety problem was in wet conditions as the slip resistance of the Marble and Granite was well below accepted levels.

The Antislip system despite being applied externally as well as internally is providing a long- term solution to the problem without altering the beautiful aesthetic appearance of the natural stone surfaces.

The steps and landing areas of this entrance to the main building of a famous Yorkshire university were extremely dangerous and slippery when wet.

The Terrazzo and Granite surfaces were treated with Antislip over 3 years ago without any obvious change to the asthetic appearance of the substrate.

The treatment took place early one morning during term time and the entrance was put back into service the same day.The success of this application has lead to further work in other areas of the university

The Terrazzo tiles in the entrance vestibule of the Student Union at this Midlands University were treated with Antislip over 3 years ago.

Despite the very heavy foot traffic that is experienced in this extremely busy building the Antislip system has performed well above expectations increasing the slip resistance and safety factor of this floor area.

The success of this 400m2 application resulted in further works to a large quarry tiled kitchen on the same site.

Antislip is used throughout the UK by many education authorities for the prevention of slips in school kitchens.

The system is particularly effective on to traditional terracotta quarry tiles and work can be carried out safely even in food storage areas as the system contains no dangerous solvents.

Antislip has given many local education departments a fast cost effective solution to dangerous slippery quarry tiles in kitchens toilets and changing rooms.
